Come out and join in as history comes alive at HCOM!

Buckskinners are in attendance in the park each day until 5:00pm.  The public is invited to tour the campsites and view the demonstrations.  Demonstrations in woodworking, blacksmithing, black powder shooting, and more will be held.

Life on the Frontier Living History Day
Public Welcome!
Groups By Appointment

Students experience first hand how our pioneer and Native American ancestors
lived as they participate in hands on skills such as shooting a bow,
black powder demonstrations, rolling cartridges, singing songs,
churning butter, hide tanning, fire making, games, wood work, and
cooking over an open fire.

10:00 am – 5:00 pm:  Living History Demonstrations, including Blackpowder,
